Light summer cuisine with salmon tartare

Finally the warm temperatures are here. And with summer comes the desire to feast. Hearty home cooking no longer really suits the summer days. So how about a light salmon tartare? Here comes the recipe from our nutritionist Marcus Schall.

For the delicious salmon tartare you need the following ingredients:

  • 300 g salmon, smoked - you can find it in our Shop
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 rotten pepper
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 5 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • pinch of sugar
  • Pinch of ground pepper
  • possibly. a bit of salt (is after, how heavily salted the salmon is)

The preparation of the salmon tartare is really easy

First you need to dice the salmon very finely. Then remove the skin from the shallot and cut into small cubes. Now wash the peppers, remove the stalks and cores and cut them into small pieces. Now wash the parsley, pat them dry, remove the stalks and chop the leaves. Now put all this in a bowl. Add lemon juice, olive oil, Add sugar and pepper and mix well. Leave the mixture in the fridge for about two to three hours. You can use serving rings to serve the salmon tartare - then it will be a real feast for the eyes.

The topics of sport and nutrition have accompanied me since my early youth and are inextricably linked to this day. I have always been particularly interested in the connections between food selection and performance. Over the years I have had these issues, also due to numerous stays abroad, studied more and more extensively and developed my own nutritional philosophy from it.
